The Candy Baron

The Candy Baron has been a permanent fixture on San Francisco’s Pier 39 since 2003, with a second location in Laguna Beach, CA just off of Highway 1. The two brick-and-mortar stores feature barrelfuls of candy, including countless varieties of world famous salt water taffy and classic old-fashioned treats from your childhood.

Razorfrog was hired by the owner to create a new accessible, responsive Shopify e-commerce site to expand their online market reach. Our team reworked and modernized their existing branding assets while preserving their old-school whimsical charm. Casual shoppers and devoted connoisseurs alike will enjoy browsing best sellers, new arrivals and tasteful categories like taffy, gummies, old-fashioned and novelties. We’ve included handy filters to help customers find the types and flavors they prefer, making for a friendly, user centric shopping experience.
