Roving Typist

Roving Typist is the web base of writer C.D. Hermelin’s story project. Roving Typist is a business/art project based around accepting specific requests for stories written on a typewriter.

When C.D. Hermelin became internet-famous overnight, he needed a website to promote and sell his typewritten stories ASAP. Razorfrog created a small, simple website for him which is able to accept donations via Stripe for custom stories. The site integrates Instagram and video, while matching his existing typewriter aesthetic.

The project, which originated in NYC-busking, has gained a new online life as a main part of Hermelin’s career. People all over the world order stories from him every week.
